I have been asked by a few people via my online contact form to stop posting the same thing twice in a row.

It is not my fault. I use the queue function in the Tumblr dashboard to space out my posts over the day and that is creating the problem.

The double posts are happening because of a bug in the queuing system. When I look in the queue, for each unique post, I see only one pending. But when I check later the one item has been posted twice.  All I can do then is delete the duplicates, but I usually can’t do this until many hours later. The problem is outside my control.

The problem is somewhat sporadic and is not happening for every post, but it is happening much too often.

I will try to send a bug report to them. I made this post mostly to explain the problem to those people that contacted me.
